Rear Admiral Fernando Hernán León de Vivero Aliaga

He was born on September 24, 1965 in Lima. He entered the Naval School of Peru on March 5, 1984, graduating on January 1, 1989 with the rank of Alférez de Fragata.

He is qualified in Naval Engineering and Surface Warfare. He has followed several studies, such as the Correspondence Intelligence course, Basic Staff course, Command and State and Major course, Special course of Joint Chiefs of Staff. In addition, he followed the Maritime Policy and Security Program, Audit of Projects in Public Investment and Technical Inspections of Minor Vessels. He is a Master in Maritime Strategy and holds a Diploma in National Security and Defense.

During his service on board, he served as Head of the Logistics Department at BAP Larrea, Head of the 2nd. Division of the Engineering Department at BAP Aguirre, Head of the Department of Electricity at BAP Aguirre, Commander of BAP Supe, Commander of BAP Talara, Commander of BAP Admiral Grau.

Among the most outstanding positions held by the aforementioned naval authority, the following stand out: Chief of the Fault Control Division and Head of the Floating Material Division at the Naval School of Peru, Chief of the 2nd. CIA platoon. "B" in the Light Combat Battalion 3, Head of the Department of Electricity, Head of the Budget Division in the General Staff of the Navy, Head of the Office of Plans, Programs and Budgets in the Joint Command of the Armed Forces , Head of the Engineering Division in the Directorate of Naval Enlistment, Head of the Programming Division in the General Staff of the Navy, Head of the General Office of Administration of the Directorate of Personnel Administration of the Navy.

He was also Deputy Head of the School of Recruits of the Second Naval Zone, Deputy Head of the Bureau of Control and Repairs Section in the General Command of Pacific Operations, Deputy Executive Director of Naval Projects, Deputy Director General of Navy Personnel .

Likewise, he served as a Student Officer of the Naval Engineering Qualification School, Assistant Officer in the General Directorate of Marine Materials, Assistant Officer in the General Directorate of Marine Material, Officer in Charge of MGP-SIMAC Agreements in the Industrial Services of the Marina - Callao.

In 2017, the government grants him the promotion to the rank of Rear Admiral and is appointed Director of Naval Projects.

On February 1, 2019, he will assume the position of Defense and Naval Attaché to the Embassy of Peru in the French Republic and Concurrent in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and Belgium.
