Vice Admiral Francisco José Calisto Giampietri

He was born on February 28, 1961. He entered the Navy on March 1, 1978, graduating on January 1, 1983 as Alférez de Fragata.
It is qualified in Special Operations. He has followed the courses: Basic Military Parachute, Submarine Demolition in the School of Special Operations of the Navy of Peru and the United States of North America, Commanded Jump in the Air Force of Peru, Basic Staff, Pilot Instructor and TANDEM Paratroopers in France, Command and Staff, National Defense, High Studies in Policy and Strategy, Technical Inspections of Minor Vessels, Instructor on Prevention, Control of Illicit Traffic and Drug Consumption, Operational Skydiving of the Armed Forces, Recognition and Inspections of Ships. He has a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and a Master's Degree in National Defense.
During his service on board he was Official of BAP Almirante Grau. He has been Deputy Chief of the Office of Commercial Operations in the Naval Force of the Amazon, Deputy Combat Squadron in the Command of the Special Operations Center, Combat Squad Chief in the Special Operations Group Center, Chief of Training in the Command Center of the Center Two Area, Security Officer in the General Command of the Navy, Chief of the School of Special Operations, Second Commander of the Special Operations Group Center, Chief of the 1st. Section of the General Staff in the Command of Special Operations.
Also, Head of the Department of Psychological Operations and Civic Actions in the Directorate of Information of the Navy, Edecan of the President of the Republic between June 1998 and February 2001, Chief of the Third Section of the General Staff in the Commander of the Fourth Zone Naval, Commander of the Special Operations Group Nororiente, Chief of the General Staff in the Command of the Fourth Naval Zone, Head of the Department of Education in the Navy Welfare Directorate, Naval Coordination Officer in the Center for Higher National Studies, Chief of the Coordination Office for the Control of Illicit Drug Trafficking in the General Directorate of Captaincies and Coastguards, Internal Inspector in the General Directorate of Captaincies and Coastguards, Commander of the Fourth Naval Zone and Commander of the Special Operations Force.
On October 6, 2016, he was appointed Commander of the Special Intelligence and Joint Special Operations Command. He served in the Special Intelligence and Joint Special Operations Command.
In 2019, he is designated as Alternate Permanent Representative of Peru to the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
