He was born on May 11, 1976. He entered the Navy on March 5, 1993, graduating on January 1, 1998 as Alférez de Fragata.
He is qualified in Surface War, Naval Engineering, and Hydrography and Navigation. He has followed the courses Correspondence Intelligence, Basic Staff, and Command and Staff in the United States of America. He holds a Bachelor of Naval Marine Sciences and a Master of Science in Coastal Engineering.
During his service on board, he was Head of the Second Division of the Engineering Department at BAP Ferré, Head of the Logistics Department at BAP Santillana, Head of the Engineering Department at BAP Paita, Second Commander of BAP Carrillo, Second Commander of the BAP Carrasco, Commander of BAP Melo, Commander of BAP Mars, Commander of BAP Carrasco, and Commander of BIC Humboldt.
He has been Officer of Discipline in the Naval School of Peru, Second Assistant Officer in the Secretary of the General Command of the Navy, Head of the Department of Physical Education in the Naval School of Peru, Head of the Department of Oceanography in the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation, Chief of the 4th. Section of the General Staff in the Commander of the Fourth Naval Zone, Staff Officer in the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation, Chief of the 3rd. Section in the Secretariat of the General Command of the Navy, and Officer to Orders of the General Direction of the Personnel of the Navy.
He is currently a Deputy Naval Attaché to the Embassy of Peru in the United States of America and Liaison Officer.
