Fishing Vessel capture Ecuadorian Maritime Domain within Peru

In compliance with its operational tasks to suppress illegal activities in the north arranged by the Chief District Captaincy No. 1, November 03 the Patrol Maritime BAP "Rio Pativilca" recently built and built in the Industrial Services of the Navy SIMA-PERU, stepped up to Punta Capones to 41 miles of coastline, the fishing vessel "Jose Armando" with registration P-00-00836, an Ecuadorian flag with nineteen (19) crew. 
He said fishing vessel was conducting fishing activities without authorization and permits, in violation of Articles 59.1 and 59.2 of the Regulations of Legislative Decree No. 1147, which regulates the strengthening of the armed forces in the powers of the National Maritime Authority - Directorate General of Captaincy and Coastguards, approved by Supreme Decree No. 015-2014-ED dated November 26, 2014, meeting in its holds an approximate 50 tons of seafood products. 
After the intervention, the fishing boat was taken to Caleta La Cruz, making it available to the Port Authority of Zorritos and nineteen (19) Ecuadorian citizens who were part of the crew, in order to carry out procedures corresponding according to law, with the presence of staff of the Public Ministry and the Regional Directorate of Production - Tumbes.
