(Reque 11/13/1844 - Angamos 8/10/1879). Son of Eusebio Ferré and Maria Mercedes Sosa, entered the Naval Academy in August of 1864 and in January of 1866 was embarked in America like midshipman. In this corbeta it assisted the Battle of Abtao (7/2/1866), remaining on board until its loss in the tsunami of Arica (13/8/1868). He traveled to the United States as part of the commission that the monitors had to bring from New Orleans to Callao, returning in the Atahualpa. Shortly afterwards he was promoted to Lieutenant Junior Grade and went on to serve in Tumbes. At the outbreak of the War of the Pacific was embarked in Huáscar as Lieutenant, died in the Battle of Angamos next to Rear Admiral Grau. He had married to Deidamia Gonzales.
